There are actually a lot of different ways to make money online. But the biggest advantage of affiliate marketing is that it’s extremely flexible—and if you have a great website and know about the Amazon affiliate program, then it makes sense to get paid for your efforts.

You might have heard about affiliate marketing in the news or on the internet. When we say "affiliate marketing," we are talking about advertising and selling products or services that promote other products or services in return for a commission (or some other form of compensation).

If this sounds confusing or even vaguely familiar, chances are good that it has something to do with affiliate marketing. If so, welcome! This article will help you understand exactly what affiliate marketing is for WooCommerce merchants as well as provide tips on setting up your own affiliate programs. We also cover some common mistakes we see merchants make when trying to get started with Amazon  affiliate marketing.

“The number one reason why entrepreneurs fail isn’t because they make mistakes, but they keep making the same ones over and over again. Learn from them and avoid making the same ones over again.” — Neil Patel

What is the Amazon Affiliate program?

The Amazon Associates Program is a way for website owners to earn commissions on the products and services purchased by their visitors. When someone clicks through from your website to, you earn a commission on the purchase.

The Amazon affiliate program is the go-to tool for anyone looking to earn money from getting their product recommendations into customers’ hands. It's simple and easy to use, but it takes some effort to get used to.

You are a recommended seller on Amazon, and you can make money by promoting your product as an affiliate. Every time someone searches for your product, you'll get a portion of the sale price as a commission.

The Amazon Affiliate Program is different from other affiliate programs because there are no minimums or sales thresholds needed to qualify for any commissions. The only thing that matters is whether people buy something when they look at your recommendations.

The commissions earned on each sale are paid directly from the merchant who paid us for those products. That means that regardless of how many people reach out and buy your product, or how much traffic it gets on its own (or how long it sits on the page), you will still receive that commission as an affiliate for all net sales made through those links in which we referred them to your product!

You can receive up to $10 per sale if each sale meets our minimum guidelines.

Why should you Affiliate with Amazon products on your WooCommerce Website?

There are many reasons why you should have a WooCommerce Amazon Affiliates website for selling Amazon products.

The first reason is that it helps you get good reviews from your customers and therefore increases the chances of making sales. Hence, your sales will be better because of it.

The second reason is that it will help connect more people with your affiliates' products, thus increasing the chances of attracting more customers to your site and thus increasing the chances of making more sales (at least in relation to those who come through).

The third reason why you should have a website is that it will help increase the amount of traffic coming to your site and hence increase conversions (and hence profits). Hence, if you want to sell on Amazon, then it is highly recommended that you create one as soon as possible, as Amazon is highly selective about who they accept as affiliates.

The fourth reason that it could generate lots of leads from customers looking for products like yours – hence increasing customer acquisition costs (CACs) – but this can only happen if there are enough people looking for that product among whom customers in general are willing to spend their money (which can only happen if there are enough potential customers in general compared to potential competitors). So basically, if enough potential customers exist among whom they would be willing to spend money (in comparison with other competitors), then there must be enough potential customers between them (in comparison with other potential competitors). And if there aren’t enough potential customers between them, then they won’t get any leads at all!

The fifth reason is that it gives you access to Amazon data which can be used in various ways; this data includes information like: products image,; product names, SKU numbers; store location; etc. But all these can only become valuable once they are aggregated into something which we can call "data points" or "scalable points" which gives us insight into how well our visitors were doing at a certain point in time – i.e.,

How to choose the right niche for your WooCommerce Amazon affiliate target?

If you want to choose a niche, you have to follow these three important rules to choose a niche that has

  • There is fierce competition among merchants in that niche.
  • A large customer base (which leads to increased sales)
  • A broader product offering (more brands and products)

This way, you can choose niches where pure sellers are less profitable. This is because in order for your merchant’s products to be profitably sold (e.g., for producing and shipping goods), they need to have a strong brand reputation and strong discounts offered by their competitors (e.g., Amazon). If your merchant has high-quality goods and low prices but no brand recognition or discounts, he/she will earn little profit from selling them on Amazon.

However, if this merchant has low-quality goods but powerful discounts, then his/her products can be profitably sold on Amazon without much effort from him/herself. This is true for any merchant with any type of business model or product range: they do not need to focus on a specific niche; they simply need to provide high-quality goods at low prices and focus on business model optimization techniques rather than solely on their products.

So long as their other offerings are good enough and their competitors don’t offer better deals than theirs, they can make decent profits even if they only sell one or two products on Amazon! This is possible because there are so many merchants (both direct sellers and affiliates) selling similar products in the same niche right now. Either they all sell similar or nearly identical goods at almost identical prices, or they all focus on different niches (like home furnishings vs. furniture).
